The Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks were officially eliminated from playoff contention last week, although both sides are playing for something in the final week of the year: a .500 record. With both the Cardinals and Seahawks at 7-8, a win would bring a lot for both organizations to build off of next season as they continue to develop and work to playing postseason football once again.
Heading into week 17, Arizona is a three point favorite at home over the visiting Seahawks. Other various websites have the Cardinals anywhere as 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 point favorites, according to Odds Shark. The over/under for the matchup is 36 1/2 points, which seems a little low considering the improvements the two teams have made offensively throughout the season.
The season did not go as planned for these two NFC West foes, but there was a lot to be proud of in 2011. A win would be a nice way to go out, especially for Arizona in front of their home crowd.
