The Arizona Cardinals came up short against the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday, losing by a final score of 23-16. The offense was practically nonexistent through the first three quarters before coming to life in the fourth. Sadly, the offensive explosion was too late.
Let's take a look at some of the Arizona numbers.
Arizona quarterback John Skelton had a terrible first half but a terrific fourth quarter. He threw three interceptions and was sacked five times before halftime. He ended up being the leading passer in the game, however, finishing 23-for-44 with 297 passing yards and two touchdowns.
Larry Fitzgerald led all receivers with 105 yards on six catches, including a 30-yard touchdown pass from Skelton. Receiver Jeff King had the other Cardinals touchdown on his only catch and target of the game.
Beanie Wells picked up 53 rushing yards on 14 carries, also tallying eight receiving yards on a catch.
