Arizona Cardinals Roster Moves: Dan Williams Is Out For Season, Ronald Talley Moves Up From Practice Squad

Stay connected for news and updates

There were a few roster moves by the Arizona Cardinals today.

The Cardinals placed defensive tackle Dan Williams on injured reserve with a broken arm and moved defensive end Ronald Talley from the practice squad to the 53-man active roster.

The team also signed defensive tackle Ricky Lumpkin and linebacker Brandon Williams to the practice squad and released tight end Steve Skelton from the practice squad.

Skelton was brought on because of injuries to Todd Heap and Rob Housler. He helped prep for the 49ers who use a lot of tight ends.

Talley has spent half the season on the practice squad and the other half he was inactive on the active roster.

Lumpkin spent the first seven weeks of the season on the Cardinals practice squad after he was with the team during training camp.

Williams appeared in six games for the Dallas Cowboys in 2010, his most recent NFL action.
