Valley Man Wins New Home, Courtesy Of The Hyphen

One of the best things about an otherwise gut-churning skin-of-the-teeth win was LaRod Stephens-Howling's 102-yard opening kickoff return for a touchdown. It seemed like an omen of good things to come. Well, not exactly. But for Dave Johnson, a resident of Surprise, it was pretty fantastic.

Johnson was a pre-registered contestant in Lennar Homes' "Take It To The House" contest, in which a lucky registrant would win a new Lennar home if the Cardinals returned the opening kickoff for a TD. Thanks to The Hyphen and some shoddy Raiders kick coverage, Johnson's got some new digs.

Hopefully Johnson invites LaRod to the housewarming party and provides the beer.
