Ken Whisenhunt On QB Max Hall

The Associated Press caught up with Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt, who had this to say about undrafted rookie quarterback Max Hall, who is making his first start on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.

“I think Max certainly feels he’s ready for it,” Whisenhunt said. “I mean, he’s a confident young man. He’s been that way since he’s been here. He’s made progress. He believes in himself and carries himself with that confidence. I know that he wanted to play. I don’t think that’s ever been a question.”

“Hopefully we’ll make some more plays, be a little more efficient offensively,” Whisenhunt said. “I think that one of the areas we need to improve in is just making the plays that are there. That’s what we’ve missed on.”

Report: Max Hall To Start For Cardinals On Sunday

Kent Somers, Cardinals beat reporter for the Arizona Republic, reports that undrafted rookie Max Hall will get the start Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.

It's going to be a tough game for Hall, who faces the defending Super Bowl champs and defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, who loves himself some blitz.

With how terrible the Cards' offensive line has been so far this season, Hall might be re-acquainted with the turf again, after being sacked six times last weekend.
