SB Nation's latest mock draft has the Cardinals taking DE/OLB Barkevious Mingo out of LSU.
With a week of free agency in the books and the pro days chugging along, the NFL Draft is getting closer. There is still a month to go before the big day in New York, and there remain just as many questions as answers about this year's class.
SB Nation's Matthew Fairburn released his latest mock draft on Monday. In it, he has the Cardinals drafting LSU DE/OLB Barkevious Mingo with the seventh overall pick:
Offensive line and quarterback are the two biggest needs for Cardinals, but pass rush isn't far behind. Barkevious Mingo represents the best player on the board at this stage.
As for quarterback, Arizona signed Drew Stanton last week, but he shouldn't be looked at as a long-term solution. Geno Smith blew away scouts at his pro day, and is now being talked about as a top 10 pick. There's also the possibility of taking Lane Johnson to beef up the offensive line if they decide to roll with Stanton in 2013.
