After being previously unranked, the Arizona Wildcats are now the No. 24 team in the country in the latest Associated Press Top 25 Poll.
The Wildcats are one of four teams, along with the Tennessee Volunteers, UCLA Bruins and BYU Cougars, to enter the top 25 after being previously unranked.
After starting off the season by knocking off Toledo in overtime, 24-17, the Wildcats played then-No. 18 Oklahoma State Cowboys and blew them out, 59-38. The upset put the Wildcats in the national conversation and landed them in the top 25.
After one more home game against South Carolina State on Sept. 15, the Wildcats travel to Oregon to face the Ducks in the biggest game of the early part of the Wildcats schedule.
The Wildcats join the USC Trojans (No. 2), Oregon Ducks (No. 4), Stanford Cardinal (No. 21) and UCLA (No. 22) in the rankings.
