2012 BMW Championship: Phil Mickelson's 64 Shoots Him To Top Of Leaderboard

Phil Mickelson shot a round-best 64 on Saturday to shoot to the top of the leaderboard at the BMW Championship in Carmel, Ind. The former Arizona State Sun Devil put together a string of seven birdies in ten holes to tie Vijay Singh at the top of the leaderboard after three rounds.

While Singh shot three under par on the afternoon, the lefty's eight-under round was two strokes better than anyone else on the day.

Scottsdale resident Ryan Moore fell out of the top ten with a one-over-par round. He currently sits at 11-under and is tied for 12th place. Lee Westwood's four-under effort now has him tied for third place with McIlroy, who won the Deutsche Bank Championship last week. Both are at 15-under par and one shot behind the leaders.

Woods, meanwhile, shot four bogeys in his first eight holes before recovering his round and finishing one-under par on the day. His tournament score of 13-under has him alone in eighth place.
