Arizona Basketball Recruiting: Jabari Bird Will Announce Wednesday

Salesian forward Jabari Bird has made his decision on where he plans to attend college. Bird will announce his decision tomorrow and canceled all his remaining visits.

Arizona is considered an underdog in this race compared to schools like Washington and California, but there was one possibility in which the Wildcats could possibly get them. Aaron Gordon of Archbishop Mitty has long been considering the Wildcats, and Bird has mentioned the possibility of the two coming together and playing in college.

However, Arizona is probably underdogs in this race, especially after already receiving a commitment from another Bay Area prospect in Elliot Pitts. Cal is the only school Bird has visited and is probably the favorite. Washington is considered Bird's co-favorite although he has yet to take an official. Then Oregon and Colorado are next up in line, although they have yet to be visited either. It's looking good for the Golden Bears though.
