The USA Today Coaches' Poll Top 25 for Week 1 was released Tuesday, and the Arizona Wildcats found their way on the ballots of some voters. Arizona received six points in the poll after their season-opening overtime win over Toledo.
There are three Pac-12 teams ranked in the Top 25. Stanford dropped three spots to No. 21, while USC rose up to No. 2 and received 14 first-place votes. The Oregon Ducks garnered one first-place vote and find themselves at No. 4.
The Washington Huskies just missed the rankings, finishing with the most votes outside of the Top 25. Based on the number of votes Arizona received, they could be considered No. 41.
The Wildcats will look to improve on their standing with a tough non-conference test against the 16th-ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. PT in Tuscon.
