NFL Week 1: Arizona Cardinals Agree To Terms With Pat McQuistan, According To Report

The Arizona Cardinals have agreed to terms with offensive tackle Pat McQuistan, according to a report.

Mike Jurecki of XTRA 910 in Phoenix tweeted the news Monday morning:

#Cards have agreed 2 terms w/ Pat McQuistan 6'6 311 who cn play 4 difft positions. (Dallas, Miami, NO & Dallas) needed depth & versatility.

The Cardinals' courtship with McQuistan came up quickly as result of injury problems across their offensive tackles. Two tackles were recently placed on the injured reserve: Levi Brown will miss the season with a torn triceps, and Jeremy Bridges with a torn thumb ligament. Bridges announced the move on his Twitter account Sunday night.

McQuistan is a seven-year NFL veteran whom the Dallas Cowboys drafted in the seventh round out of Weber State in 2006. He played for the Dolphins in 2010 and the Saints in 2011, and he initially re-signed with the Cowboys for the 2012 season. He was cut and moved to the Cowboys' practice squad on Thursday.

The Cardinals open their season at home Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.
