Diamondbacks vs. Giants lineups: Wade Miley tries to regain form

Wade Miley takes the mound for the Arizona Diamondbacks tonight against the San Francisco Giants hoping to recover from a rough month of baseball. Miley (16-10) has gone 2-2 in his last four games with an ERA of 5.34, well above his 3.25 average for the season.

The Giants will hang their hats on pitcher Matt Cain, (15-5, 2.86 ERA) who will be tasked with slowing down the Diamondbacks fresh off a 7-2 series-opening victory last night. Arizona (78-76) has won seven of its last nine games during a desperate charge to make the final wild card spot.

Look for hot hitters Paul Goldschmidt of Arizona and Marco Scutaro of the Giants to extend their hitting streaks to nine and 14 games, respectively.
