Tour Championship 2012 Purse: Phil Mickelson Takes Home $167K

The 2012 Tour Championship has wrapped up, and now it's time for all of the golfers to get paid for their efforts. Brandt Snedeker, who won the event after shooting 10-under par, took home $1.44 million. Justin Rose finished in second place and will take home $864,000.

Luke Donald and Ryan Moore tied for third place at -6 overall, which will earn them $468K. Webb Simpson and Bubba Watson tied to round out the top-five and won $304,000.

Tiger Woods added to his riches with an eighth place finish, taking home $248,000. Rory McIlroy, the world's No. 1 player, finished tied for 10th at -1 and earned $205,750. Phil Mickelson, an Arizona State University alum, won $167.2K for a 15th place tie.
