The Tour Championship 2012: Lee Westwood Tied For Early Lead

The last stop of the PGA Tour Playoffs got underway on Thursday at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, GA with Phil Mickelson looking to capture his first FedEx Cup with a victory at the Tour Championship.

Mickelson is yet to start his round as he and Nick Watney will be the second to last group to tee off at 1:45 p.m. ET. They will be followed by FedEx Cup points leader Rory McIlroy and No. 2 Tiger Woods at 1:55 p.m. ET.

There currently is a three-way tie atop the leaderboard as Bo Van Pelt, Scott Piercy and Lee Westwood sit at 2-under for their rounds today. Ryan Moore, Jim Furyk and Justin Rose are the only other players currently under par at East Lake, sitting at 1-under.
