Arizona Cardinals running back Ryan Williams was limited in Wednesday's practice, as he continues to deal with a knee ailment, according to Kent Somers of AZ Central Sports.
Williams is still nursing a knee injury that caused him to miss the 2011 season after rupturing a patellar tendon in the preseason. Though he's been able to play in 2012, he's been a non-factor in the Cardinals' offense, gaining just 1.2 yards on 18 carries heading into the Week 3 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday at University of Phoenix Stadium.
In the narrow win vs. the New England Patriots in Week 2, Williams lost a costly fumble that put Pats kicker Stephen Gostkowski in position to kick a game-winning field goal. Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com reported on Wednesday that Williams had hit "rock bottom" after dealing with a death in the family as well as the fumble, but that he was going to "get it back."
