Eagles Vs. Cardinals Injury Update: Skelton Out, Heap Limited Wednesday

Stay connected for news and updates

Arizona Cardinals quarterback John Skelton remained out of practice with an ankle sprain on Wednesday, while tight end Todd Heap was at practice and in pads, according to Kent Somers of The Arizona Republic. The latter means Heap, who injured his PCL on Sunday and was listed as day-to-day, should be among the limited players in the team's updated injury report.

Heap led the Cardinals with five receptions for 62 yards in the 20-18 victory at New England on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Skelton's status looks grim for the upcoming game against the Philadelphia Eagles, and it's likely that Kevin Kolb will start against his former team.

As for the Eagles on Wednesday, Adam Caplan reported that safety Colt Anderson (knee), tackle King Dunlap (hamstring) and wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (hip) were all held out of practice. Wide receivers Riley Cooper (collarbone) and DeSean Jackson (hamstring) were limited.
