Austin Hill Makes Biletnikoff Award Watch List

Stay connected for news and updates

Arizona Wildcats wideout Austin Hill made his debut on the updated watch list for the Biletnikoff Award, given to the nation's most outstanding receiver. Through three games, the sophomore is in the NCAA's top 10 for receiving yards with 319 yards on 17 receptions.

He joins fellow Wildcat Dan Buckner on the watch list, and the duo has done its duty in replacing former lead wide receiver Juron Criner, who is now with the Oakland Raiders.

Hill has already eclipsed his 2011 receiving total of 311 yards. In the Pac-12, only USC Trojans wideout Marqise Lee has better statistics.

At 6'3 and out of Corona, Calif., Hill put up 139 yards in Arizona's opener against the Toledo Rockets, including his only touchdown of the year coming on a diving grab in the end zone. He backed the performance up with a 124-yard game in an upset of the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
