Rondae Jefferson Commits To Sean Miller, Arizona Wildcats

Stay connected for news and updates

Rondae Jefferson, a five-star wing out of Pennsylvania and consensus top-20 recruit of the 2013 class, has committed to the Arizona Wildcats. Jefferson had visited Tucson twice in the last month and had an in-home visit with head coach Sean Miller on Thursday evening. He gave his pledge just moments ago.

Jefferson, who comes in at 6'7 and 190 pounds, was a key piece to UA's 2013 recruiting class. Elliott Pitts, a three-star guard, was the only other player committed to Arizona before today. Now with a talented guard and wing in the mix, the 'Cats can shift all their focus to star forward Aaron Gordon.

Jefferson will fill in nicely for the Wildcats next season as seniors Solomon Hill and Kevin Parrom depart the program. He is a very talented player and is a coach's dream on the court, especially given his reputation as a hard-nosed player who enjoys playing defense.

More to come shortly.
