2012 NFL Picks Against The Spread: A Monday Night Doubleheader

Stay connected for news and updates

Week 1 of the 2012 NFL season is almost done. All that are left are two Monday Night Football games that traditionally start the season -- one on the east coast and one on the west coast. Tonight we have two rivalry games -- Bengals/Ravens and Chargers/Raiders.

Read on for our picks!

Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens (-7.5): Baltimore is expected to be one of the league's best teams, while the Bengals surprised everyone a season ago with their play. While this could be hard fought, expect to see the Ravens pull away. They will win by more than a touchdown. Pick: Ravens, -7.5.

San Diego Chargers at Oakland Raiders (Pick'em): This game is truly up in the air. Both teams could be five-win teams or 11-win teams. How will Carson Palmer play? Since San Diego has a habit of starting the season poorly, I lean towards the home team. Pick: Oakland, straight up.
