Local sports fans will get a double dose of good news. The Arizona Cardinals have added a former Arizona State Sun Devil to the team. Receiver Gerell Robinson, who was cut from the Denver Broncos after signing with them as an undrafted free agent, has tweeted that he is a member of the Arizona Cardinals.

Robinson has NFL size -- 6-4 222 pounds. He has average speed, with a 40-time between 4.5-4.6 seconds. He isn't a burner at all, but is great at catching the ball in traffic. His last year at ASU, he has 77 catches for 1397 yards and seven touchdowns, including a team record 241 yards in the Vegas Bowl against Boise State.
It has not been confirmed whether he was signed to the active roster or the practice squad, but common sense would say that he is likely on the practice squad.
