Arizona Cardinals Reportedly Add Offensive Tackle To Practice Squad

Stay connected for news and updates

The Arizona Cardinals continue to assemble their eight-man practice squad now that they have their roster at 53 players. The third player that reportedly has been added to the squad is offensive tackle Steven Baker, as tweeted by NFL agent Mark Lillibridge.

Baker was undrafted this year and spent the preseason with the Colts. He is 6-8, 310 pounds and played college ball at East Carolina State University.

Baker, if reports are correct, will join defensive tackle Ricky Lumpkin and outside linebacker Ricky Elmore on the practice squad. The signing of Baker could mean that the team is not going to bring back tackle D.J. Young, who spent most of the 2011 season on the team's practice squad and even started a game this preseason before being cut on Friday.
