Diana Taurasi and Team USA basketball got a bit of a challenge early from China on Sunday afternoon, but they completely took over in the second quarter and did not look back from there. The U.S. remained undefeated in pool play as they went on to win by a score of 114-66.

The score was 31-28 after the first quarter, which led to a huge rally of 30-8 from the United States in the second. They outscored China 53-30 in the second half.

Taurasi, who spends her time with the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA, led all scorers with 22 points. She went 8-for-10 from the field, hitting four of her five shots from behind the 3-point arc. Angel McCoughtry scored 16 for Team USA, while Maya Moore added 12 points and seven rebounds.

It was another strong showing from the ladies of Team USA basketball, and another step towards another gold medal in London.
