Arizona Cardinals Trade CB AJ Jefferson To Vikings, According To Report

The Arizona Cardinals have dealt third-year cornerback A.J. Jefferson to the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for undisclosed draft picks, according to multiple reports. Jefferson, 24, appeared in all 16 games with the Cardinals last season, recording 66 tackles and intercepting one pass.

Here is the latest from training camp. The team had until 9 p.m. ET on Friday night to cut their roster down 53 players.

Jefferson always had the potential to become a very good cornerback in the league, although he developed a tendency to get burnt down the field. This understandably drew the ire from his coaches, likely prompting the trade this evening.
