The 2012 Barclays, Leaderboard Update: Vijay Singh Takes Lead At 7-Under

As the second round of the 2012 Barclays awaits the second wave of players to hit the course, Vijay Singh made his statement early on Friday, finding himself atop the leaderboard at 7-under at Bethpage Black in New York.

Vijay carded a bogey-free 68 to move into a tie for first initially, though Padraig Harrington quickly fell off after back-to-back bogies on his first two holes of the day. Bob Estes, John Senden, and Brian Harman are all currently tied for second place at 6-under.

Rickie Fowler had himself a nice second round, finishing with a 1-under 70 to move to 5-under for the week. He is tied with Harrington, Sergio Garcia, Gary Christian, John Huh and Pat Perez who just got his round underway.

Phil Mickelson is set to tee off at 12:44 p.m., while Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy tee off at 1:06 p.m.

Full leaderboard can be found here.
