Previewing the series with the Diamondbacks and Marlins.

The Arizona Diamondbacks return home to Chase Field after a successful road trip this past week to take on the Miami Marlins in a four-game series. The series will feature the first doubleheader in Chase Field history on Wednesday.

Arizona sits 4.5 games back in the National League West. With the Giants and Dodgers set to battle this week in LA there is a great opportunity for the Snakes to make a move in the standings as one of the two teams ahead of them are guaranteed a loss.

The Marlins started the season off strong but have completely fallen apart since. Miami enters with a record of 55-67, worst in the NL East. They traded away numerous key players before the deadline, including starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez and third baseman Hanley Ramirez.

Here are the pitching matchups and start times for the games.

Monday, 6:40 p.m. - Joe Saunders (6-9, 3.70 ERA) vs. Mark Buehrle (10-11, 3.74 ERA)

Tuesday, 6:40 p.m. - Trevor Cahill (9-10, 3.75 ERA) vs. Ricky Nolasco (9-12, 4.94 ERA)

Wednesday, 12:40 p.m. & 6:40 p.m. - TBA; look for each club to release their probable pitchers on Monday or Tuesday.
