Levi Brown Injury: Cardinals Lose Starting Tackle To Torn Triceps, Could Miss Season

Stay connected for news and updates

The Arizona Cardinals might have won Friday night's preseason game with the Raiders, but they suffered a much greater loss to their offensive line. According to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter, starting left tackle Levi Brown has torn his triceps muscle and could miss the entire regular season. The best-case scenario would be a return in three months or so.

It should be noted that the tear has not been confirmed by Arizona, but it is believed within the league that is indeed the injury Brown has suffered.

This is a big blow to the Cardinals offense. For a unit that struggled to consistently move the ball last season, losing one of their better linemen is not going to help matters at all. In addition to naming a starting quarterback, look for any and all options to be discussed as the coaching staff looks to solidify the offensive line.

More to come shortly.
