2012 PGA Championship Scores And Results: Vijay Singh Leads, Tiger Woods Struggles As Play Suspended In Round 3

Stay connected for news and updates

Round 3 of the 2012 PGA Championship will be finished Sunday morning after play was suspended midway through the round due to foul weather. Round 3 play will resume at 4:45 a.m. PT, with the final round beginning at 8:30 a.m. PT. That may be good news for Tiger Woods, who was struggling early and can use the break to turn his momentum around.

The way things stand midway through the third round, Vijay Singh and Rory McIlroy are tied for the lead at 6-under. Singh opened the day in the lead and managed to stay there, shooting 2-under through seven holes. His fellow leaders both slipped down the leaderboard, Carl Pettersson to fourth after shooting an even par through eight, and Woods all the way down to 11th place after shooting 3-over through seven holes. Former Arizona State Sun Devil Phil Mickelson completed 11 holes before play was suspended, shooting 1-over and sitting at 1-over in total, good for 21st place.
