Stay connected for news and updates

Phil Mickelson has not played very well in recent majors, but he's looked strong through two rounds at the 2012 PGA Championship. Mickelson is an even par entering Saturday, four strokes back of co-leaders Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh and Carl Pettersson.

"Lefty" is scheduled to tee off at 2:10 p.m. ET / 11:10 PT, and a big day today could put him in contention for a championship tomorrow.

As for the golfers who have already begun their third round, Justin Rose has shot a -5 through 10 holes to improve his overall score to one-under. American golfer Steve Stricker is a -3 through six holes, moving him to par for the event.

As for the leaders, Woods and Singh will tee off at noon. Pettersson and Ian Poulter, who is at -3 thus far, will play at 11:50 PT.
