2012 Olympics Preview: Team USA Basketball Faces Argentina In Semifinals

Team USA's semifinal men's basketball game against Argentina headlines Friday's Olympic action. This is the second game this week that the two teams face each other. On Monday night, the United States beat Argentina 126-97.

Six players are averaging double digits for Team USA; Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony both lead the team, averaging just over 17 points a game. Former Arizona Wildcat Andre Iguodala is chipping in 5.3 points and 3.5 rebounds per game while former Arizona St. Sun Devil James Harden is putting up 6.5 points per game for Team USA.

Argentina is led by NBA players Luis Scola and Manu Ginobli, both are averaging 19 points a game, ranking them second and third respectively in scoring average in the tournament.

The game tips off at 1:00 p.m. PT and will be televised live on NBC Sports Network and online at NBCOlympics.com.
