Wimbledon 2012 Scores And Results: Serena And Venus Williams Capture Women's Doubles Title

Serena Williams went 2-0 on Saturday in the 2012 Women's tournament, capping her title win in the Ladies' singles tournament with a win in the Ladies' doubles tournament. She and sister Venus Williams took on Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka, beating the two in straight sets. They won the first set 7-5 and the second set 6-4.

The win is the fifth Wimbledon doubles championship for the sisters, and in each of the five years one of them has also won the singles title. Together they hold 14 Grand Slam doubles titles. This was the first doubles tournament they had entered in two years, and they entered in preparation for the upcoming 2012 Summer Olympics. The sisters go to London as two-time defending gold medalists.
