NASCAR At Indianapolis 2012: Brickyard 400 TV Schedule, Starting Lineup & More

NASCAR returns to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday for the race traditionally known as the Brickyard 400. It has a stupid name this year that is not worth typing out.

As the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series continues, Matt Kenseth will try to pad his lead atop the points standings. He is slotted in at No. 10 in the starting lineup. Jeff Gordon, who needs a win to keep his Sprint Cup hopes alive, is at No. 9.

The green flag is scheduled to wave at 10:19 a.m. PT. This will be the first race of the season broadcast on ESPN, who will handle the television broadcasts for the remainder of the year. Hopefully they'll do a better job than TNT, although it would be difficult to do much worse.

There IS live streaming of the race today, which can be found via the "Watch ESPN" app. If you'll be away from your computer and TV, check the Performance Racing Network's web site for a list of affiliate radio stations in your area.
