Will Claye, Brigetta Barrett and Georganne Moline are some of your main track and field competitors in the London 2012 Olympics for the United States.

There are plenty of track and fielders that are competing who have some ties to the state of Arizona. The main competitor appears to be Will Claye, who is from the Pheonix area and eventually went to school at both Florida and Oklahoma. Claye will be competing in both the triple jump and the long jump.

Among the track and fielders from the University of Arizona, Georganne Moline will be competing in the women's 400 meter hurdles, Abdi Abdirahman will take part in the men's marathon, Brigetta Barrett is one of the main competitors in the high jump. The ones from Arizona State include Desiree Davila, who will participate in the women's marathon, Amy Hastings (who qualified in the women's 10,000 meters), and Ryan Whiting who will take part in the men's shot put.

Other notable Arizona trackers include Lopez Lomong from the Sudan who attends Northern Arizona and will compete in the 5,000 meters, and Kyle Acorn (who will take part in the men's 3,000 meter steeplechase).

Talk about the track and field action with Arizona fans by heading on over to Arizona Desert Swarm and with ASU fans at House of Sparky.
