On Sunday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Kasey Kahne grabbed the checkered flag in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301. With the win, Kahne finally moved into contention in the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Kahne officially turned around a season that started off disastrously with a string of wrecks and is now sitting pretty to gain Wild Card entry or better in the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
Kahne edged out Denny Hamlin to pick up the big win. Overall Sprint Cup points leader Matt Kenseth finished in 13th place and will remain in the top spot, followed by Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Greg Biffle.
