2012 U.S. Open Golf Leaderboard: Jim Furyk On Top At The Turn, Phil Mickelson Finishes with 78

Stay connected for news and updates

Jim Furyk has been the most consistent golfer at the 2012 U.S. Open up to this point, and for the moment he stays on top of the leaderboard. His front nine was full of pars, with only one bogey on the round so far. Furyk has no birdies up to this point, but for now it's keeping him solidly in front of the pack. He will have to beat +2 if he wants to win the U.S. Open up to this point, as that's the score of current clubhouse leader courtesy of Michael Thompson.

Things were not easy for Phil Mickelson. He compiled eight bogeys on his final round on 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, and 14 and finished with a 78 on Sunday and is currently situated in a tie for 65th overall.
