2012 College World Series Schedule: Arizona To Face Florida State

The Arizona Wildcats now know who their opponent will be in the first game of the 2012 College World Series. The powerful Florida State Seminoles will be standing in their way.

Florida State hosted Stanford in the Tallahassee Super Regional and absolutely decimated them. FSU pummeled Stanford 17-1 and then advanced with a 18-7 victory, and beat UAB and Samford twice. Florida State is one of the best hitting teams left.

Arizona is one of the most complete Pac-12 teams left, pummeling Missouri and Louisville in hosting their Tucson Regional before beating St. John's in two straight matches to advance to the Super Regional. Arizona faces their stiffest test yet against FSU.
