The Arizona Wildcats are headed to the College World Series field of 64, where they'll try to win the Tucson Regional over New Mexico State, Louisville, and Missouri.
The College World Series field of 64 was announced earlier today, and five Pac-12 teams made the cut, with four of them ending up hosting regionals. One of them was the Arizona Wildcats.
Arizona earned a number one seed in their regional, which they'll host in Tucson. Arizona will play host to New Mexico State, Louisville and Missouri. Arizona plays Missouri on Friday, June 1 at 8 PM PT. If they won that, they'd play the winner of New Mexico State vs. Louisville on Saturday; if they lose, they'd play the loser. Arizona must be the last team standing without two losses to advance to the Super Regional, where they'd face the winner of the Chapel Hill Regional featuring North Carolina, East Carolina, St. John's and Cornell.
Arizona plays in the Hi Corbett Field, which is also the spring training home for the Colorado Rockies.
