The 2012 Masters is coming up this Thursday in Augusta, Georgia, and Phil Mickelson figures to lurk as a contender. Despite only logging two victories the past two years, he does have one big victory on the year in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, and is still ranked fourth on the money list.
That's why Mickelson is going to be one of the favorites going into the 2012 Masters. Mickelson has the third best odds, trailing only Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.

Despite his current struggles, Mickelson has performed very well at the Masters as of late. He finished tied for 27th last year, but he won the 2010 Masters, had top five finishes in 2008 and 2009, and managed top ten finishes every year from 1999 to 2006, including two victories in 2004 and 2006. Would you really be all that shocked if Mickelson is in contention on Sunday? This is definitely not a value bet, but don't discount Lefty prowling Amen Corner in a battle for that green jacket.
