On Sunday, NASCAR will come to Martinsville Speedway in Virginia for the Goody's Fast Relief 500. The sixth race in the 2012 Sprint Cup Series will take place on the shortest track in all of NASCAR and the second short-track race in as many weeks. The drivers will race 500 laps on a track measuring just over a half-mile in length.
The leaders in the Sprint Cup chase heading into Sunday are Greg Biffle in first place with 195 points and Kevin Harvick hot on his heels with 188. Harvick is in a great position to take over the top spot, as he will be in the second slot in the starting lineup, behind pole holder Kasey Kahne. Kahne will hope to begin redeeming himself, as he has only managed to finish two out of five races this season.
The race will be televised nationally on FOX and the green flag will be waved at 10:14 p.m. PT.
