NCAA Tournament 2012, Elite 8 Odds: Florida Gators Slightly Favored Over Louisville Cardinals

The Elite 8 round of games is always an entertaining one, especially with a shot at the Final Four on the line. Nothing compares to the excitement and emotion of March Madness and fans should be in for a great day of hoops on Saturday. While it may not be getting much attention, the showdown between the Florida Gators and Louisville Cardinals has the chance to be one of the better games of the tournament thus far.

According to the highly-regarded Kenpom blog, the Gators will be slightly favored against the Cardinals. Their projections have UF winning 54.8% of the time and advancing to the Final Four, compared to a 45.2% mark for UL. Neither have been given much of a chance at winning the national championship, with both schools currently with less than a 7% chance to win it all.

The odds makers in Las Vegas have essentially called this game a toss-up. Some betting lines have Louisville as one point favorites, others have them dead even. It's basically a pick 'em at this point.
