Tiger Woods Eliminated From Accenture Match Play Championship By Nick Watney

Stay connected for news and updates

Tiger Woods was done in by his putter once more.

Woods missed a six foot putt on the 18th hole that would have sent the match to an extra hole, and Nick Watney moved on, winning the match one-up.

Tiger's putting was the main culprit today. Tiger missed a five-footer on the 14th hole to blow a chance to win the hole, pushed a birdie to the right on the 13th, missed a bogey putt in the 10th hole to fall behind by one. He also pushed a putt to the left on the first hole, missed a six-foot putt on par on the 7th hole. Those putts were the issue that killed him.

Check out a full live update of Tiger's whole round against Watney from USA Today.
