The Cardinals punter has been a bright spot in the Cards' disappointing season

Amid the 5-10 season of the Arizona Cardinals, not much has been good. However, during the team's 28-13 loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday, punter Dave Zastudil set a record.

With six punts inside the 20-yard line, he brought the total of such punts to 44 for the season, which an NFL record. The previous record was 42. In fact, another punter in the league, Kansas City Chiefs punter Dustin Colquitt, could surpass that previous record as well. He is two two punts inside the 20 behind Zastudil with 42.

Zastudil, who made the team out of training camp last season and was a surprise to replace Ben Graham, has proven to be a wise move for the team. He has been helped by great punt coverage, led by Michael Adams and Justin Bethel.

The record book is not written yet. With only a two punt lead over Colquitt, he could lose the lead and the record book in Week 17. It will provide at least a portion of drama in the team's season finale.
