The Wildcats came out sloppy against the Wolf Pack, and now they have to dig out of a big hole.

The Arizona Wildcats have been blown out in their last two bowl games. 15 minutes into the 2012 New Mexico Bowl, the 'Cats trail the Nevada Wolf Pack 21-7.

Nevada walked the football down the field on their first drive, capping it off with a big touchdown run from star tailback Stefphon Johnson. The Wildcats were stopped on their opening drive, and the Wolf Pack struck quickly again to make it 14-0. Arizona then fumbled the kick return, and their opponents answered with a deep touchdown pass on their first play.

It appeared this one was destined to be a blowout, but Arizona has shown some signs of life. Ka'Deem Carey rushed in for a touchdown towards the end of the first quarter to cut the deficit to 21-7, and a big interception from Shaq Richardson gives the ball back to the 'Cats.

It won't be easy for UA to come back, but they're still in this game...somehow.
