The 'Cats and Tigers will square off on the hardwood beginning in 2015.

Sean Miller has never been shy about scheduling tough teams. While this year's non-conference schedule isn't too daunting, that will certainly changing the next couple of seasons as UA becomes a fixture atop the polls. This past week, Arizona announced they have set up a home-and-home basketball series with the Missouri Tigers that will start in 2015.

As Arizona Desert Swarm details, the Wildcats will host Mizzou at McKale Center on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2015. Arizona will repay the favor the following year with a trip to Columbia on Saturday, Dec. 10.

The Tigers have consistently been a solid program over the past few decades, and they have a handful of deep NCAA Tournament runs on their resume. The program has, however, never made a Final Four, and was upset in the first round of last year's tournament as a two-seed.

This seems like a great fit for both teams and should be a fun series in the coming years. Here is what coach Frank Haith had to say about the agreement earlier in the week.

"This is a great series and will generate the type of national exposure fans and programs want early in the college basketball season," MU coach Frank Haith said in a statement. "I have so much respect for Sean (Miller) and the Arizona program and when you get two national brands playing in on-campus settings it's great for all of college basketball."
