The Phoenix Suns find themselves near the bottom of SB Nation's NBA power rankings.
The Phoenix Suns have found more success in recent games than at the beginning of the season. After starting the season 1-2, they now sit at 3-4 after wins over the Charlotte Bobcats and Cleveland Cavaliers, as well as losses to the Miami Heat and Utah Jazz. SB Nation's own Seth Rosenthal installed the Suns at 24th in his latest NBA power rankings.
Rosenthal commented that the Suns have the problems you'd expected from a very young team: inconsistent offense and a sometimes-flimsy defense. He notes because the Suns can score points quickly and in bunches, they could steal a few wins from upper-echelon teams down the road this season.
The Suns open the week at home against the Denver Nuggets tonight. They'll take on the Chicago Bulls Wednesday in Phoenix, before a quick one-game road trip Friday to face the Los Angeles Lakers. They'll come back home to face the Miami Heat on Saturday.
