Suns vs. Kings: Former Suns guard Aaron Brooks listed as starter

Christian Petersen

The preseason lineup for the Suns remains unchanged, but the Kings have opted to start Aaron Brooks over Isaiah Thomas.

The Phoenix Suns host the Sacramento Kings in their fifth preseason game tonight, looking to hand the Kings their first loss. The Suns (2-2) will start the same unit that they have gone with throughout the preseason, but that may change over the coming days.

Coach Alvin Gentry noted that since the team plays again tomorrow, he will likely have a different lineup for that game, choosing to play his starters tonight.

Here are the lineups:

Suns

F Michael Beasley

F Luis Scola

C Marcin Gortat

G Jared Dudley

G Goran Dragic

Kings

G Tyreke Evans

F Jason Thompson

C DeMarcus Cousins

G Marcus Thornton

G Aaron Brooks

The sole listed injury is that of Channing Frye, who will miss significant time with an enlarged heart. Keep with this StoryStream on SB Nation Arizona for quotes and notes following the game.
