College Football Rankings, Week 8: Arizona State sneaks into USA Today Coaches' Poll

The Arizona State Sun Devils are ranked No. 24 in the latest USA Today Coaches' Poll.

Following a 51-17 drubbing of the Colorado Buffaloes on Thursday, the Arizona State Sun Devils are now ranked No. 24 in the latest USA Today Coaches' Poll.

The Sun Devils accumulated 593 yards in the victory, including 261 rushing yards. The win improved the team to 5-1 on the season, and a perfect 3-0 in Pac-12 play. Arizona State remains in first place in the Pac-12 South.

The Sun Devils will get a major test next week when they take on the No. 2 ranked Oregon Ducks at home. In total, there are five ranked teams from the Pac-12 in the USA Today Coaches' Poll--No. 2 Oregon, No. 9 USC, No. 11 Oregon State, No. 23 Stanford, and the Sun Devils.
