2012 Senior Bowl: ASU WR Gerell Robinson Scores To Give North Team 20-6 Lead

Before five minutes passed in the third quarter of the 2012 Senior Bowl, Sun Devils wide receiver Gerell Robinson made a big splash by scoring on a 40-yard touchdown pass from Michigan State quarterback Kirk Cousins to give the North team a 20-6 lead.

Robinson leads the North team in receiving with two catches for 63 yards and has one of the team's two touchdowns. The only receiver who has more yards than Robinson in the game is Arkansas Razorbacks wide receiver Joe Adams, who has 90 yards receiving for the South team.

Robinson caught 77 passes in 2011 for 1,397 yards and seven touchdowns, but despite the solid senior season, Robinson is not listed as one of ESPN's top-50 wide receivers heading into the draft. However Scout.com says the 6-foot-4, 210-pound receiver has almost everything you could ask for from a receiver at the next level.

Robinson has great size (6-4, 225), excellent quickness and good speed. For a bigger receiver prospect he is certainly elusive in the open field when running the football. He has excellent vision and balance and the ability to make people miss and make the big play. Robinson has soft hands and runs good routes. He is the type of receiver that can beat you on the short, intermediate or deep routes.
