The Diamondbacks have announced, in Spanish via press release, that Saturday will be Salute to Hispanic Heritage Night at Chase Field, in recognition of fans, players and the Hispanic community here in the Valley.
For the fourth straight season, the team will wear its black "Los D-backs" jerseys. Those jerseys will then be made available for bid in an auction after the game, the proceeds benefiting the Diamondbacks Foundation.
Pitcher Joe Saunders will be recognized as the team’s Roberto Clemente Award nominee, and there will be entertainment (mariachis and dance) as fans walk into the stadium.
And of course, the first 15,000 fans through the gates get a Ryan Roberts bobblehead doll, a giveaway which was already planned for the same day. Roberts was the player who got the most fan votes for a bobblehead.
By Saturday, the Diamondbacks could very well have the NL West won, so it should be a fun atmosphere either way.
