Arizona Basketball Recruiting: Brandon Ashley, Grant Jerrett, Gabe York Selected For Elite 24

Sean Miller is recruiting the best talent in the country to come play for the Arizona Wildcats. Need proof? Of the players selected for the Boost Mobile Elite 24, two of them are committed to UA -- Grant Jerrett and Gabe York -- and Brandon Ashley has the Wildcats right at the top of his list. Miller and his staff are also targeting other players at the game as well.

What is the Boost Mobile Elite 24? According to ESPN, it is the nation's leading elite high school boys' basketball event for underclassmen. Players are chosen based on their performance at AAU events by high school basketball experts from ESPNHS, ESPN College Basketball Recruiting and other top talent evaluators. Only the best of the best make this game.

Arizona fans may recall Nick Johnson was selected for this game last season, as was Arizona State's Jahii Carson.

As for the event itself, it is held in Los Angeles on August 26-27 at beautiful Venice Beach. The 2011 Boost Mobile Elite 24 (Saturday, Aug. 27, at 7 p.m. ET) and the Under Armour Slam Dunk Contest (Friday, Aug. 26, at 6 p.m.) will both air live on ESPNU. Make sure to set your DVRs.

A big congratulations to all of the players, but especially one to Grant, Gabe and Brandon.
