Phoenix Suns Schedule: Lunch With Dwight Howard And The Magic

The Phoenix Suns hope to bounce back from their lethargic performance in Thursday's loss the the Denver Nuggets with a better showing against Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic. With the big trade between these two teams that went down in December, the game features plenty of story lines about players facing their old team and mates.

Jared Dudley has been joking for weeks that he's going to dunk on his old pal, Jason Richardson. Earl Clark will get a chance to show the Suns coaching staff how much he's improved, or least grown with the addition of ten pounds of muscle. Will the Suns fans care enough to boo Hedo Turkoglu? And the biggest story is Marcin Gortat getting the opportunity to play against the guy who beat him up in practice for three years. It's a match up he's anxious for although we doubt Howard will care nearly as much.

After suffering a set back with his pelvic injury in Thursday's game, Steve Nash is listed as a game time decision for this mid-day start.

The game tips at 12:30 p.m. local time on ABC and will be broadcast on Sports 620 radio. Fans can follow along during the game with other Suns fans at the live game thread at Bright Side of the Sun.
